There's this one poem by D. Zawawi Imron that I love and it goes like this :
Apabila mendung sudah di atas kepala
Jangan larang hujan turun ke bumi,
Apabila angin bertiup dengan kencangnya
Jangan larang daun daun kering berguguran,
Apabila senyummu selalu mekar di hatiku
Jangan larang jika aku selalu rindu dan mencintaimu,I don't ever feel like translating to English (or French) for this one because of the expressiveness of the language.
But if one had to for the sake of understanding, it goes like this,
When clouds gather overhead,
Don't stop the rain from falling to the earth.
When the wind blows fiercely,
Don't stop the dry leaves from falling.
When your smile always blooms in my heart,
Don't stop me from always missing and loving you.
